For the last 30 or so years of our lives, we have lived in Sussex, England, where we raised our family. However, our story began here in South Africa where we met. As recent graduates, Ian and I met as +1's at a friend's dinner party. I later joined him in England where we married and had two children.
Following our retirement, we have pursued the project to create this incredible home designed for us by a childhood friend, architect and fellow Riebeek Kasteel resident Dries Greyling. The build project was nicknamed "Rabbit Hutch" after our family name; Hutchinson. So you may spot a few bunnies on your way around...
We are thrilled to call this piece of Riebeek Kasteel our home and we look forward to your stay.
